ACTION. JUSTICE. COMMUNITY.

We are inspired by Jewish tradition that teaches: If not us, who? If not now, when? We are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are we free to desist from it.

Upcoming Events

Greening Jewish Institutions

We are committed to achieving a net-zero Jewish community as soon as possible. In support of that goal, our Greening Jewish Institutions initiative provides resources and support for a variety of greening projects. Ultimately, sustainability must be integrated into all facets of Jewish community life, especially our sacred spaces and community centers. Click here to learn more.

Advocacy

We believe that addressing the climate crisis requires bold legislation and regulatory follow-through. We work closely with coalition partners, front-line communities, and legislative allies to advocate for climate action and climate justice. Click here to learn more about our advocacy work!

Education

We can’t solve a problem we are not talking about. CJCA’s educational programs create opportunities for learning, dialogue, and community building that prepare us to implement climate solutions.

Youth
Empowerment

We believe that it is critical to engage the next generation in climate education and advocacy work. We are creating resources for b’nai mitzvah students and are partnering with the Jewish Youth Climate Movement to support the formation of a JYCM Kvutzah (chapter) here in Colorado.
